用法说明
finally, at last, in the end
这三个词都有“最后的”之义。其区别在于：
finally用于在列举时引出最后一项或用在句中动词前面，表示等了好久，某事终于发生了；at last可用以表示“等待或耽误了很长时间之后才…”或“终于…”，而且语气较为强烈；此外，也可用于感叹语；in the end表示经过许多变化、困难和捉摸不定的情况之后，某事才发生。但是finally要放在动词前，而in the end则没有此限制。试比较：
The car wouldn't start, so we finally decided to go on foot.车子不能发动，所以最终我们决定走着去。
He passed the exam at last.他终于通过了考试。
He always gets you in the end.他最后总是能找到你的。
I left in the middle of the film. Did they get married in the end/Did they finally get married?我中途就离开了电影院。他们最后结婚了吗？
